About Me
Hi! My name is Taylor. I’m based in the North Texas area along with my husband, son, and our dog and 3 cats. I have a passion for learning and trying new things. I’ve done things from being a run coach to animal rescue to creating a kitchen garden. I love new experiences and building on what I’ve learned over the years.
When it comes to design and leadership, there’s one thing that is constant for me and that is creating inclusive, inviting environments for people to learn and grow.

How does this align with design?
Adhering to my personal priorities shapes me into an empathetic leader. Our most effective work unfolds in a stable and supportive environment, emphasizing the significance of acknowledging the personal priorities of my team members outside of work.
Design, in essence, should embody inclusivity. Whether conceptualizing a new platform or crafting a singular screen, I ensure my team consistently considers usability and its impact on users of varying abilities. Designing for both ends of the spectrum ultimately translates to a universally accessible outcome.
Design team ethos:
Navigating within the confines of available resources facilitates swift ideation and implementation. While the complete research and design process remains crucial, adaptability is key. Analogous to the agile nature we expect from our development counterparts, designers must be poised to respond flexibly. In the consulting realm, collaborating with Fortune 500 companies and startups has exposed me to diverse approaches. Deviating from a strict adherence to the design process does not negate the application of Design Thinking to achieve our objectives.
